Fixbox was previously known as Cornwall iPhone Repair from 2014 to 2021, before rebranding to encapsulate a wider variety of electronics repair.
With thirteen years of experience in repairing Apple devices commercially, we have earned a repution as a trustworthy source of high quality repairs. Alongside Apple and Samsung genuine service parts we source mostly original-quality parts, such as reclaimed used screens or original displays that have been professionally reglassed.
Mike visited Shenzhen, China in 2019 to spend time with some suppliers we have dealt with for years. Our stock levels are increasing as new models are released, whilst we still offer support back to the iPhone 3.
In 2024 we moved from our co-work location to our Chester Road workshop, joining with PC Medic and MacManLee to provide all computer, Macbook and games console repairs under one roof.
We work on a bookings basis so get in touch for a slot. Out of hours drop off and collection can be arranged, just ask for options.
We really are proud of our repairs and stand behind our parts so a 12 month warranty is offered to cover any glitches or issues - excluding accidental damage like drops and water damage.
While we specialise in Apple repairs, we do enjoy the more unusual electronic devices with issues; from remote controls to car keys to water pump controllers. We have a full soldering setup with microscope in the workshop.

We also repair Samsung & other phones, plus Playstation and Xbox games consoles. PS5 HDMI port repair is completed here in our Newquay workshop. We can take a look at any console or device to fit or source parts. Just book an appointment to come and have a chat.

Most of our iPhone repairs are completed and ready to collect within 1-2 hours because we hold stock of nearly every part for iPhones up to the latest models.
We can also undertake data recovery with a range of logic board work available when needed. Charging chips, blown filters and shorted capacitors are often replaced here in the workshop.

For Windows computer repair we have in-house technician Sam at PC Medic, who also offers remote support and on site callouts. Performing the same service across the Apple Mac range of iMacs and Macbooks is Lee at MacManLee. Booking availability and contact details for both are on their websites.

Fantastic service from Fixbox for my elderly mother last week whose iPad had a fault; they had to keep the device overnight and as she doesn't drive offered to deliver it to her home nearby, this was so kind and unexpected. She did end up collecting it herself but really appreciated the gesture. iPad all fixed, highly recommended.
